It's that Time of Year!

I love Christmas time. I love the cold weather and the cold nights sitting by the fire. I don't love Christmas just because I give and receive presents or because I get to eat yummy food. I love Christmas because this is the time of year that Christ is truly celebrated. Not that we shouldn't celebrate Christ all of the time but people seem to actually recognize that CHRISTmas is supposed to symbolize Jesus. People who don't go to church very often or people who don't come to church at all come to a Christmas Eve service because, half of the time, they feel like they have to but I think that it is better to come to church on Christmas Eve than to not go to church at all your whole life. When those people come to the Christmas Eve service they hear the gospel. What better way is there to present the gospel through the CHRISTmas story. The Christmas story (if told correctly) is so pure, simple and sweet. I just thank our Lord and Savior for giving us this time of year to TRULY celebrate, worship, recognize, and understand His TRUE and MIGHTY love for us.

I hope everyone has a Merry CHRISTmas and that everyone will celebrate Christ in everything they do this holiday season.

It is hard to keep up!!!!

I have been very busy lately, as usual:-) I am in two different classes for school. I take a Chemistry class under a College professor. I also take a class that has Literature, History, Geography, and Writing. Two of my friends moms teach the class. So with both of those classes I have a lot of Homework each week. I am also a procrastinator and don't do my work until the last minute. In Writing we are writing a 10 paged research paper. That is going to take a while. I am also doing Geometry this year in Math and I am trying to finish my Language and Spelling for the rest of the year. On top of all that, I am testing for my 2nd degree black belt in 26 days. So I am training for that as well. Training for black belt takes up a lot of my time and so it is really hard to get everything done. I am also in an all girls choir. This is my fifth year in the choir. I really enjoy singing and several of my friends are also in the choir. So I am a very busy person and it is hard to keep up with it all, but I just trust the Lord that He will help me get through and get everything that I need to get done done!!!

Ken's Corny Corn maze

Last night we went to Ken's Corny Corn maze. It is a 2 1/2 mile corn maze.I was in a group with Amanda and Ellie. It took us 56 minutes to get through the corn maze. We had a lot of fun. Each group gets a flag and a punch card. You are trying to find hole punches with the letter that you need on it. You carried a flag so that in case you couldn't get out you could wave it in the air above the corn stalks so that somebody could come and help you get out. We got lost several times and missed the boxes with the hole punches several times. Owen was in a group with Jason, Nathen, Mr. Rob, and Mr. Mark. Alexa and Ian were in a group with my dad and my grandpa. My group got out before Owen's group and Alexa and Ian's group. We were quite proud:-) Then afterwards we went to McDonald's for supper. After we were finished Ellie, Amanda, Alexa and I went and played on the playground. We knew that we were to big and we got stuck quite a few times:-) We took a video of each of us coming down the slide. It was really funny. We had a great time and I hope that we get to do it again soon.

She's gone:-(

Okay, as most of you know my mom is gone for the weekend. She has gone to Mississippi to be with one of her good friend's. Her friend's grandfather past away yesterday. He was like a father to my mom's friend. Her friend called my mom 40 minutes after his death and my mom just felt like she needed to go. I totally understand that. But I miss her terribly. She just left this morning and it has only been 4 hours but it has felt like forever. She will get back late on Sunday. I guess I didn't realize how much I needed her until she wasn't here. I know she will be back but I still miss her. I am just glad that she is coming back home on Sunday. It is only 3 days. I haven't ever gone this long without her. My dad will be here at night but I am here with Owen, Alexa, and Ian during the day. At least he will be home on Saturday. We are going to Ken's Corny Corn Maze on Saturday so that should be fun. I hope the time goes by quickly.

Braces and Birthdays and Mule Days

I haven't been very good at keeping up with my blog. Since my last post I have had a birthday and my mom has had a birthday. I got my permit on my birthday. So I have been driving. It is a lot of fun and nerve racking:-) My mom had a good birthday. We got her a recliner. I am enjoying having the recliner:-) Ian's birthday is tomorrow. He will be 6 years old. It is hard to believe that he will be that old. I also got my braces today. I was a little nervous but they look great. They aren't too sore right now but I am sure they probably will hurt in a little while:-) Every year in September my family and I all go to Benson, NC for something called Mule Days. It is a lot of fun. There are funnel cakes, hot dogs, french fries, snow cones, and bloomin' onions. The town closes the main street so that you can ride your horses (if you have one) everywhere. We get there on Friday and leave on Saturday night. We stay with my great grandmother. We wear cowboy boots and cowboy hats. On Friday we go to the mule races and then that night we go to the carnival that they have there. Then on Saturday we get up and watch a parade. There are all kinds of things in the parade. Sometimes there are pony rides that Owen, Alexa, and Ian like to ride. I am very excited because Lillie (my dog) is coming with us. This will be her first Mule Days so I hope it goes well:-) She tends to have a barking tendency:-) I just wanted to update and share what as been going on. I hope to see most of you (who read this)soon:-)

Pictures of the missions trip to Texas!

These are some of the pictures I took in Texas. I had a really good time. I hope you enjoy looking at these. If you haven't read about my trip scroll down the blog posts.

This was the main room in our side of the church. The bedrooms with the bunk beds were off of this room. This is where we kept all of our luggage.

This was the shower trailer:-)

This is the van that we rode in. It was a 15 passenger van, but we usually fit in at least 20:-)

This is Ryan. He used to live in Del Rio but now he lives in Germany. He flew to Del Rio to help us.

This was my bed. As you can see, it isn't made:-)

This is Jackson, Me and Taylor.

This is me breaking concrete:-)

This was my dad breaking concrete.

This was the Border Patrol Truck:-)

This was a man on the streets of Mexico. He was carrying garlic around his neck and was selling them.

This is a shop in Mexico. Isn't it colorful!

This was the front of the church. That's Master Amanda in the front with her purse. The purple belt is Madison. Kayley is behind Madison, Bethany is the one with braids, Anna is standing in front of Bethany. Then it is Forrest, Andrew, and then Reid.

This was the church's sign.

This Reid, Kaden, and Jackson. Jackson is the one that I helped him break his board. Isn't he cute:-)

This is Mrs. Tina doing the purse skit:-)

This is Yahira, Lauren, Jill, Taylor, and Victoria. This was my small group.

This is my dad at the airport.

Days 8, 9 & 10

Day 8
Today Master Woolman took us(Me, Daddy, Ryan, Hailey, Mr. Dan, and Amanda) into Mexico to shop. We had a great time. I was very thankful that Master Woolman had made it possible for us to go. When we got back we had to go do a demo at the mall, we did the same thing that we did at the church in Mexico. Then some of the girls went shopping. I went to the Wilson's and had a snack and played Uno Attack with Forrest. Then it was time for conformation. We had to do forms, a few kicks, and break concrete. I broke 2 pieces of concrete. I broke it wrong though and I hurt my wrist. I was just glad that the concrete still broke:-) Daddy and Mrs. Tina both hit theirs wrong and hurt their hands and wrists. We all sat around with bags of ice:-) We had Dominoes for supper. Then we went back to the lodgings and went to bed.

Day 9
I got sick this morning. So I stayed at the lodgings instead of going to church and slept for awhile. Mrs. Tina, Daddy, and Amy took good care of me:-) I was feeling better by the time they got back from church. We went to the Scheller's for lunch. They had a swimming pool. So we went swimming:-) When we left there we went to the church to teach the beginners class. Jackson and Taylor joined TKD. I helped in the beginners class the first hour and in the Little Gators the second hour. After that we went to the lodgings to pack. I took a shower and I packed up all my stuff. Then we went to Applebee's for supper. It was very yummy. Then we came back and went to bed.

Day 10
We got up at 6:00am this morning because our suitcases had to be in the hallway by 6:30am. We left at 7:00am. It was a 3 hour drive to the Antonio Airport and I slept part of the way. So it didn't feel like that long of a drive. We got to the airport at 10:15am and checked in our bags. Mine was exactly 50lbs. That is has heavy has it can go or you have to pay for the extra pounds. Then we went through security. After that we all ate some lunch. I had McDonald's. Then we boarded the plane and took off. We were on our way home:-)

Day 7...

Today was the last day of Sports Camp. Kayley led three older girls to Christ in her small group today. We practiced for the parents night. We set up for the second Sports Camp and then went to the lodgings to eat lunch. We came back for the second Sports Camp and then we had to set up for Parents Night. There was a little boy in the monkeys who became very attached to me. He decided that he wasn't going to go up and do the stuff or break a board in front of all the parents. So afterward Daddy was going to let him break his board but he refused to. His mom started to get frustrated with him so I asked her if I could try to get him to break his board. After about 15 minutes of trying to convince him to break it. He finally broke it! He was so proud of himself. He gave me a big hug and his mom took a picture of him breaking his board. Then after the parents night a few of us went to see the Batman movie "The Dark Night". Reid came with me and Daddy. Pastor Wilson's neice who was staying with them for the summer and I became pretty good friends. She came and with us and she sat beside me at the movie. It wasn't all that great. When we got back Amanda was upset about the movie. So Jill, Amanda, Maddison and I stayed up until 2am talking about the movie. Then we all went to bed.

Day 6...

This morning I got up and got ready for camp. We got to the church and I was asked to help in the beach volleyball area. It was not a very good place to be. The morning camp did okay with it, but the afternoon camp was terrible. They wouldn't listen, they were rude, and they would hit the balls really hard and the helpers would have to run and get them. Then this little boy who comes to the 1st camp came and helped me. He was there because his sister was in the afternoon camp. After that I helped Mrs. Sosa in her tumbling class:-) I don't know how I got chosen to help her in there! I can't tumble at all:-) Then Grandmaster Sosa was teaching the little gators. So Master Jamie told me to watch so that I would know what to teach in our school's little gator class. Tonight we went to Mexico to do a demo at a church. It was one of the most amazing things we did during the whole trip. The people at the church had a great and amazing love for the Lord. They cried, they danced, they laughed, and they even shook tambourines while they were singing and dancing. We did Kungfu Panda, One-Steps, The purse skit, Pirates, Breaking, and Secrets. I sis one-steps with Hailey. I did a regular round kick and a tornado kick to break my boards. Master Woolman preached and 6 people prayed to receive Christ. Kayley also led a little girl to Christ in her small group. On the way back from Mexico we stopped be McDonald's to eat supper. Then we all went to bed.

Tuesday, August 5, 2008

Day 5...

Today was Mrs. Kay(the cook's) birthday. We made her a big card and sang "Happy Birthday" to her. Her and her husband are really nice and make really good food. So then we left for the church. We did "For By Grace" and the Heaven skit. I was the Grace in "For By Grace" So then we came back for lunch and then went back to the church for the second camp. After the second camp we had demo practice. Half way through the demo practice it started to rain. It rained really hard for about 10 minutes and then it just stopped. When we walked outside after the rain had stopped there was a gigantic puddle right in front of the door. So then we came back to the "lodgings" for supper. After supper we had to practice the demos for Mexico. Then Grandmaster Sosa and his wife arrived. They are really nice. After that I went to bed.

Day 4...

I woke up this morning and got ready to go. My arm had been hurting yesterday and it was kind of raised up and swollen. So this morning I decided to show Doc. Cromwell. I had tennis elbow(the muscle in my arm was inflamed). So he told me to not lift anything heavy and to basically try not to use it. He gave me some lotion to put on it. It stings and it smells a lot like Bengay:-) It is called Pain-a-Trate. He said it could be a little while before it stops hurting. I helped Amanda do the laundry today. Daddy is gone right now. He is at the church setting up for tomorrow. I played some cards with Hailey and Amanda and eventually Kayley and Jill joined in. Then we ate supper. After supper I played a game of spoons. Then Mrs. Tina, Hailey, and I folded some laundry. We also made the boast sign for "For By Grace". Then Mrs. Tina and I played cards. It was a pretty good day. Grandmaster Sosa comes tomorrow.

Day 3...

I had to wake up at 6:15am this morning. I was very glad that I had gone to bed at 11:00pm last night. We had breakfast at 7:15am and then we left to go to get ready for the first sports camp. I had to write out name tags. We had about 60 kids come and be the end it had all gone very well. I am Master Jill's small group assistant. She has done very well. After sports camp we came back to the "lodgings" to eat lunch. Then we went back to the church to get ready for the second sports camp. I had to do name tags for this camp as well. It went a lot better during the second sports camp. I had to help Master Jamie with Bo Staff. We had to do it outside!!! It was TERRIBLY HOT!!!! So after the second sports camp we got the choice to either rest at the lodgings or to go swimming. I chose SWIMMING!!! It was quite refreshing. After that we came back to "lodgings" for supper. I got to stay at the "lodgings" instead of going back to the church to set up for tomorrow. I was very tired so I went to bed early.

Day 2...

This morning I woke up and I was freezing cold. I got up and got dressed and then I went into the kitchen to eat breakfast. Then we got ready to go to the Wilson's church for church. We did the Kungfu Panda skit this morning. After church we came back to the "lodgings" to eat lunch. That was when I was told that I had to participate in the tournament. I was NOT happy!!! The tournament started at 4:00pm and ended at 9:00pm. There were five blackbelts that had to participate. They were me, Reid, Bethany, Hailey, and Master Amanda. We did our forms first. I got 4th place. I was totally satisfied. Then we sat for 4 hours waiting for it to be our turn to spar. It was 8:30pm when it was finally our turn to spar. I sparred Hailey and I lost. Then we came back and ate supper. I took a shower and then I went to bed.

Day 1...

We got on the plane at 11:25am and took off at 11:50am. Daddy and I played a game of Rummy 500 for a little while but then I got a bad head-ache so we had to stop. I took some Tylenol and I started to feel better. Then Forrest came up to where I was sitting and wanted to play cards. So Daddy went and sat with Mr. Kent so that Forrest and I could play cards. After a while Hailey and Forrest switched places and Hailey and I played cards. There was a little boy on the plane who was eight years old. He was flying all by himself to his grandparents house. He had been crying at the beginning of the flight so Daddy, me and Hailey all played and talked to him throughout the flight. We landed at the San Antonio Airport at 1:53pm Texas time. Then we went to the baggage claim and found all our luggage rather quickly and easily. We took them out to the big green van and loaded it up. It was another 3 hour car ride to Del Rio after the 3 hour plane ride! When we got to the church where we were staying. We unloaded and got our beds ready. I started out in the room with Kayley and Jill and I had a top bunk but I had a hard time getting up on and down from it. So I moved into the room with Bethany and Hailey because there was an empty bottom bunk. After we got everything settled we ate supper. We had roast, rice, green beans, and a salad. It was very yummy. Then we went to the Wilson's church to do demo practice. We practiced Kungfu Panda until 10:30pm. Then Doc. Cromwell talked for awhile and then we all broke up into groups to pray. It was me, Daddy, Mr. Huffman, and Hailey. After that Mr. Kent, Mr. Dan, and Daddy built the Cross for the Kungfu Panda skit. Then Mrs. Cromwell brought us back to the "lodgings" and I got ready for bed. Then Daddy came back and Daddy and I, the Carrow's, the Huffman's, Doc. Cromwell, Nate and Master Woolman sat in the kitchen and talked for a while. Then I went to bed.

I'm back!!!

I am back from Texas. I had a great time. I made a lot of new friends and I got to know a lot of wonderful kids. I kept a daily journal of what I did so I will be posting them a.s.a.p. I hope you all have had a wonderful summer. I know that I have.

We leave on Saturday and get back the 28Th(which is a Monday). I am going with my TKD group, so it should be a lot of fun. We are going to Del Rio, TX(I don't think I spelled that right:-) and we may so into Mexico for a day. My dad is coming with me. Camp, Missions Trip, and a lot more!!!!

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I was at New Life Camp for Teen Week 2 weeks ago. Then I came home and rested. Then on Sunday my dad's childhood neighborhood had a reunion. He had a really good time. He had the oldest child (me) and the most children:-) That wasn't a big surprise. Then after we left the reunion my aunt, her two year old daughter, and my dad's mom all came back to our house for my dad's birthday. We swam and ate hamburgers and lemon pound cake:-) It was very good:-) I am leaving for my missions trip to Texas in 16 days. I am very excited. This will be my first time on an airplane. My dad and I are going with our TKD school. It should be a lot of fun. Tomorrow is the fourth of July and we don't have any big plans. I think it will be nice just to be able to hang out at home. We may go to my grandma's tomorrow evening for supper and to watch fireworks. Lillie went to the groomers on Tuesday and she looks soooooo much better. She was REALLY hyper when she got home:-) I guess I would be hyper too if I had been at the groomers all day. My dad set up the Slip n' Slide today so we are going to do that after supper. We had a great time on it last year. The length of it eventually grew to around 80ft; maybe even a little more. I am enjoying my summer and I hope that it continues to be a good one.

My Busy Summer

I am sorry that I haven't been posting a lot lately. I have been very busy. On May 31st my aunt got married. That was a big thing. It was beautiful. I had a lot of fun. So the weekend before the wedding New Life Camp called. They wanted me to be a C.I.T for Early Week(June 1st-June 7th) I wasn't sure if I wanted to be a C.I.T at all this year. But my mom told me that this would be a great opportunity. So I said that I would do it. I called my friend, Amanda, to see if she had gotten called(she wanted to be a C.I.T during Early Week REALLY bad). I called her and they hadn't called her. She was NOT happy. So I get off the phone and I went to get into our pool, about an hour after I had called Amanda camp called her! She was going to be a C.I.T worker(a C.I.T worker works in the kitchen and helps with the kids, a C.I.T stays with the kids the whole time) any way she was very excited. So the day after my aunt's wedding my mom and I stayed home from church and packed up all my stuff and I was off to camp. The week turned out to be a really good week. I made some new friends and was reunited with some old friends. There was a girl in the cabin next to me that really made an impression on me. She had down-syndrome. She was so pasionate about Christ. She loved to have her hair played with and she loved Jesus with all her heart. She rededicated her life to Christ during the week of camp. So I came home from camp and then I went to bed. This week I don't have to go hardly any where. But next week I am going back to New Life Camp for my week to be a camper. I am also doing Tae Kwon Do sports camp that week. My friend, Leigh, and I are going to New Life Camp during the day, going to Tae Kwon Do sports camp during the night, then coming back to camp to go to sleep, and then waking up and doing it all over again! So I am going to be very tired this coming week. This summer, I am also going on a missions trip in July, and I have to take the driving part of drivers ed some time during this summer! So I have a very busy summer.

Tuesday/ Biology/FROGS!!!!!

Today is a typical Tuesday. I woke up (I didn't really want to wake up), I got dressed and then I went over to my grandpa's because he was taking me to biology. Biology was a little more interesting then normal. We are on our last module and we only have 1 more week to go:-) In this module we are learning about mammals, reptiles, and amphibians. Today we mostly talked about snakes and frogs.

Most of you know that I am terrified of frogs. I DO NOT like frogs. I don't know why but I have NEVER liked frogs. I scream whenever one is near me. I don't really care much for snakes either, but I REALLY do NOT like FROGS!!!!!! YUCK!!!!!!

Another Typical Monday!!!!

Today has been a good day. I have done a lot of school work. Owen doesn't have gymnastics tonight so we will all be home (except for my dad). We had a long weekend. I stayed at my friend's house on Friday night. Then my uncle had a sleep-over at our house. It was a lot of fun. We went ice-skating and we watched Enchanted. Then we all got up and my Grandma cooked us a big breakfast. Then I had another birthday party to go to at 1:30pm. It was a lot of fun. It was for my friend Leigh. It was at the pool at the Sleep Inn. We had a good time. Then we came home and rested a little while because we were all pretty tired. Then we had to go to my dad's office to clean it. We are kind of like his office's janitors:-) After that we went and got some Chinese for supper. It was very good. After supper my mom and I watched the movie, Step Up, on our Projector. My dad and Owen watched the movie, Transformers on the big TV up stairs, and Alexa and Ian watched a movie on the portable DVD player in my mom and dad's room. Then we all went to bed.

Wednesday, March 26, 2008

Yuck Yuck Yuck:-(

We have had a very interesting week this week. On Easter morning Owen woke up with a stomachache, a sore throat and a temperature of 102. So he didn't have the best Easter morning. So my mom took him to the Doctors on Monday and he had Strep Throat. Well my throat had also been hurting on Sunday. I had a bad cough and it sometimes hurt to swallow. So I woke up on Monday morning and I thought that I had laryngitis. I sounded awful and I felt awful. I didn't go to the Doctor on Monday. So I woke up yesterday morning my cough was worse, my throat hurt really bad, and I had a runny nose. My mom made me a Doctors appointment, but she had to test. So my Grandpa had to take me to the Doctors. I was so sure that I had Step Throat. I didn't! I have some kind of Sore Throat Virus. The nurse told me to drink lots of liquids and to stay on Cold medicine. I was so mad. I went to the Doctor for no reason. Oh well I guess it is better to be safe then sorry, right. So sometimes my voice sounds normal and sometimes I sound like a frog. I have choir today but I won't be able to sing( I sound awful). My nose is so stopped up it is not even funny and I look like Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. But it will hopefully blow over soon and then I will feel better. I hope:-)

Hey Everyone!!

Well we got a new computer it is just taking awhile to get used to it. I will now be able to post again. I just wanted everyone to know that our computer is up and running.

Sunday, March 9, 2008

Sorry:-(

Sorry that I haven't posted in awhile. Our computer crashed on Tuesday. I am at my Grandma's so this is the only reason why I am posting. I hadn't realized how much you enjoy having a computer until you don't have one any more. My parents are out looking for a new one right now. I hope to post again soon but I don't know how long that will be. It may take a while to 1.Find a new computer; 2.To get up and running and 3.to hook the internet back onto it. I hope to get it running soon. Goodbye for now:-)

A typical Monday!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today is Monday. I got up at nine and started doing some school. Then I ate breakfast and then loaded the dish washer. I have biology tomorrow:-( We should start dissecting things soon. I went to a birthday party yesterday. It was fun. It was for my friend Ellie's sisters from Ethiopia. They are turning one on the 15th. This Thursday will be Valentines day. We went to the Circus last Thursday. It was a lot of fun. We had a great time. My mom wouldn't tell us that we were going to the circus. She told us that there might be some motorcycles, tractors, canons, and people talking loudly. There were people talking louding and there was also a canon. We thought that we were going to a Demolition Derby. We were very surprised when we pulled up to the RBC center. We had a really good time.

MONDAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today is a monday. I got up at 10. I did a little bit of ToG reading. I finished reading my Science module and I just got back from cleaning my dad's office. Yesterday was the Super Bowl XLII. My dad and brothers had a party. There were a lot of men there. My mom and I went to go see the movie"27 Dresses" it was a cute movie. Then we came back and listened to the men either BOO or shout hooray. My dad hooked up the TV to our projector and my uncle let us borrow his surround sound. So while he had all this going, he also had the regular TV going. So you can probably imagine how loud it was. So over all it was a pretty good weekend.

Wednesday, January 30, 2008

Today is Wednesday

Today has been a typical Wednesday. I woke up this morning with puppy breath in my face. So, I got up and did some school work:-( Owen has a fever today:-( My dad has a bad cold:-( We are in a sick stage. I had biology yesterday. I have choir and art today. We are rearranging our house this week. We are getting a big TV. We are making our schoolroom our bonus room and our TV room our schoolroom. We painted the new schoolroom(our old TV room) orange. My mom started painting it at 1:30 yesterday afternoon and finished at 5:00 yesterday evening. I hope our family feels better soon. I am going to be on the TKD testing board for the first time this Friday. I am very excited. Got to go get ready for choir.

Today's question is:
If I were a timepiece I would be a . . .
  1. Stopwatch
  2. Grandfather clock
  3. Timer
  4. Watch
  5. Wall clock

I would be a watch because I like to know what time it is at all times.

Which one would you be?

Today @ the nemitz's

Today was okay. I got sick this morning:-( that wasn't any fun. I still don't feel 100% but I feel better than what I did. I just finished doing my Quarterly test for biology. It was 9 pages long. I have to turn it in tomorrow. Alexa and Ian both had fevers yesterday. I took a 2 hour nap today. It made me feel much better. My mom signed me up for Drivers-ed this morning. I am so excited. Two of my friends and I are taking it together. I can't wait to drive. So everyone should stay off the road:-) Just kidding. Hopefully I will be a good driver. I turn 14 1/2 in March and the class is in April. My friends that are taking it with me are just as excited as I am. We are all one month apart from each other. My friend, Amanda's birthday is in July, so she turned 14 1/2 in January. My friend, Ellie's birthday is in August, so she will be 14 1/2 in February. And my birthday is in September, so I will be 14 1/2 in March. I have to go finish school so I hope to see some of you soon:-)

Today is Thursday

Today is a Pajama day at our house. I was going to get a hair cut last night but I couldn't because it was a 45 minute wait and we couldn't wait that long. Hopefully I will get one soon. We are just hanging around the house today. We are catching up on school. It is our 97th day of school. Only 83 days left:-) It is raining. We wanted it to snow but it isn't:-( We have Co-op tomorrow. I had choir yesterday. It went well. Then I had art class. It was a lot of fun. I personally think that I am artistically challenged, but it was only the first class. Hopefully I will get better at it. My mom and dad's anniversary was yesterday. They have been married for 15 years. My mom has been trying out new recipes lately. So far they all have been pretty good. We have had a french fry and cheeseburger casserole and a poppy seed chicken casserole. They were both very good. Today for lunch we are having something called Pizza Cups. It sounds pretty good. Talking about food is making me hungry:-) My dad has TKD tonight because we didn't have it on Tuesday night. He is the only one that has to go because it is for black belt prep. It is from 6:00-8:00pm but because of Tax Season he probably won't get there until 6:30pm. We are going to my grandma's tomorrow night because my mom and dad are going to help move a relative. So we will be there all day Saturday. It should be fun. I still have quite a bit of school work left to do. We have a quarterly test coming up for biology. That should be interesting. It is our second one this year. We have four of them in all. Just in case any of you were wondering, it isn't my mom teaching the class, it is a NC State Professor.

Question of the day (my mother made me do it)

If I were a piece of luggage I would be a . . .
  1. Carry On
  2. Trunk
  3. Pet Carrier
  4. Laptop Case
  5. Plastic Grocery Bag
  6. Golf Travel Bag

I would be a pet carrier because I would be able to carry Lillie inside of me.

What would you be?

Update from Monday.

Yesterday I had Biology. We watched an Al Gore movie. It was an hour and a half long. For biology this week I have to do 2 test re-takes, a lab report, and an argument paper about Global Warming. This should be a fun week. My friend Heather spent the night Monday night so that we could take her to Biology the next morning. She spent the night because her uncle was having surgery, so her mom could not drive her to biology. Tuesday afternoon, my Grandpa came and took us to Chick-fil-a for lunch. Then we came home and hung out because we didn't have Tae Kwon Do. We played and watched a movie with my Grandpa. We had a good time. We had Salsberry Steak for supper. It was very good. Today we have been doing school. I have choir. While I am at choir, Owen, has an art class. After choir I have art class. Then Owen has Gymnastics and the rest of us have church.

Question of the day (My mother made me do it)

My mom has decided to use our blogs for school. So here is the schooling part of my blog:

The Question of the Day:

If I could keep only one of the following:
  1. Television
  2. Books
  3. Computer
  4. Telephone
  5. Blow Dryer

I would chose the Computer because I enjoy using the computer. I like to check my emails, update my blog, etc. I also would need the computer for school. What would YOU choose?

Here is an update of my life.

Lillie is doing great. She is getting bigger. More like half a pound bigger. Here is a picture of the Queen of Youngsville herself-

She was holding on to one of her toys and wouldn't let go(She is hanging off the ground):

On Saturday Alexa had cheerleading for Upward. That same day and almost at the same time Owen had a gymnastics meet. It was at his own gym so he wanted Alexa, Ian and I to go and watch him. He had to be at the gym to start warming up at 4:00pm. The meet didn't really start until 5:30pm though. Alexa's game was also at 4:00pm. So my dad took Owen and my mom took Alexa. Ian and I went to watch Alexa cheer. Alexa's cheering ended at 5:00pm. So as soon as that was over we dashed out the door and headed over to the gym. We got there just in time to see Owen do his first event. The high bar. He did great. The meet started at 5:30pm and we left there at 8:00pm. Owen got 4th place on the floor, 9th place on the mushroom/pommel horse and 11th place on rings. He was in 12th place over all. (This all took place inside the 10-11 level 5 group). His team was in 2nd place over all. His coach let him bring home the trophy until Wednesday. After that we went to McDonald's for supper. The next morning was Sunday and we all got up and went to church. When we got home we just hung out. Then my dad left for Tae Kwon Do. After he was done there, we went and cleaned his office. Then we stopped by SubWay and got some supper. Today we are picking back up where we left off in school. So that is a summary of my weekend.
