Question of the day (My mother made me do it)

My mom has decided to use our blogs for school. So here is the schooling part of my blog:

The Question of the Day:

If I could keep only one of the following:

1. Television
2. Books
3. Computer
4. Telephone
5. Blow Dryer

I would chose the Computer because I enjoy using the computer. I like to check my emails, update my blog, etc. I also would need the computer for school. What would YOU choose?

Here is an update of my life.

Lillie is doing great. She is getting bigger. More like half a pound bigger. Here is a picture of the Queen of Youngsville herself-

On Saturday Alexa had cheerleading for Upward. That same day and almost at the same time Owen had a gymnastics meet. It was at his own gym so he wanted Alexa, Ian and I to go and watch him. He had to be at the gym to start warming up at 4:00pm. The meet didn't really start until 5:30pm though. Alexa's game was also at 4:00pm. So my dad took Owen and my mom took Alexa. Ian and I went to watch Alexa cheer. Alexa's cheering ended at 5:00pm. So as soon as that was over we dashed out the door and headed over to the gym. We got there just in time to see Owen do his first event. The high bar. He did great. The meet started at 5:30pm and we left there at 8:00pm. Owen got 4th place on the floor, 9th place on the mushroom/pommel horse and 11th place on rings. He was in 12th place over all. (This all took place inside the 10-11 level 5 group). His team was in 2nd place over all. His coach let him bring home the trophy until Wednesday. After that we went to McDonald's for supper. The next morning was Sunday and we all got up and went to church. When we got home we just hung out. Then my dad left for Tae Kwon Do. After he was done there, we went and cleaned his office. Then we stopped by SubWay and got some supper. Today we are picking back up where we left off in school. So that is a summary of my weekend.

Lillie update

Lillie is doing great! The last three nights she has slept the whole night through. She is doing very while with our schedules. She turned 8 weeks old yesterday. I will have had her for 2 weeks tomorrow. She has gotten a lot bigger in these last few weeks. I keep on telling her that she has a big belly. We all have our own nicknames for her. I call her Cruella De Lillie. My dad calls her Lillie Pop. Alexa and Ian call her Lillie Pad. We have found out that she loves ham. My mom brought out some ham for lunch and when Lillie saw the ham she went nuts. So I gave her a piece of it and she could have probably taken my finger off the way she snatched that piece of ham. She is a great big, fluffy, bundle of joy and I am honored to have her as my friend and my pet.

One Day Left

I am so excited that it is CHRISTmas Eve. The time has just flown by. I just keep reminding myself this CHRISTmas that it isn't about receiving gifts or giving gifts. It is about Jesus Christ's birthday. He came into this world to take our sins upon Himself so that we wouldn't have to carry our own sins. I can just picture Baby Jesus lying in a manger because there was no room for him in the inn. I can picture His mother, Mary, sitting beside Him pondering all these things in her heart. Please remember what CHRISTmas is truly about while you go to your families houses' or if you're just staying at home. Just remember that He died for us. He is what this CHRISTmas season is all about. Have a MERRY, MERRY CHRISTmas everyone, and I hope to see you soon.

My early Christmas gift

Hi everyone sorry that I haven't posted in so long. I just wanted to let you all know that I got the puppy that I have always wanted. She is so sweet (99% of the time :-) I will hopfully get some pictures up of her soon.

My Weekend

On Saturday my sister, Alexa, was in the Youngsville Christmas parade. After that we went home and cleaned downstairs, the schoolroom, and some of my room. Then we went to Walk Through Bethlehem with my aunt and her almost husband, Josh, after that they came back to our house and we all ate supper together (lasanga if anybody was wondering). After supper we watched the real Grinch That Stole Christmas. So they didn't leave our house until around 10:30pm. Then we all went to bed and woke up and went to church the next morning. I didn't go to Sunday School because I doing nursery for Haley Huffman. We didn't go to Service because we had to go to my Great Grandparents house for their 60th wedding anniversary. That started at 2:00pm so we didn't leave there until around 5:30pm. Then we went to my Grandma's house (my mom's mom) to help her decorate her tree. My aunt, Maranda, and my uncle, Tim, and my aunt, Amanda, and my almost uncle, Josh, and me great Grandma, Grandma B. were all there. After we had decorated my Grandma's tree we all played a big game of Telephone that was a lot of fun. There were 13 of us playng it was a lot of fun. Then we came home and went to bed. Then we woke up on Monday and we did school and some Christmas stuff. Then my Mom and Dad had a Christmas party and my brother also had Gymnastics. So my mom took Owen to Gymnastics and then went to her Christmas party. My Dad came home and I help him with some Tae Kwon Do stuff. He was feeling good because he had a huge knot on his neck. Then he left to go to the Christmas Party. I fed Alexa and Ian supper. Then one of Owen's team mate's mom brought Owen home from Gymnastics around 8:45pm. My parents got home not to long after that. Then on Tuesday morning my mom and I got up and my mom took me to Biology (it is an 8:30am class). When I got home we started getting lunch ready for my Grandpa (his birthday is today, Wednesday,) so while we were getting ready my friend, Ellie, called to see if I wanted to come over to meet her new siblings from Ethiopia) of coarse I did so after we had eaten lunch with Pawpaw I went over to her house (you can read their story at my friend's blog www.myethiopiansisters.blogspot.com or her parents blog at www.jobsdaughters.blogspot.com ) So then my mom pick me up from her house and we went to TKD. It was pre-testing night and my mom and my dad were both pre-testing. Owen couldn't do class because he had pulled his ham-string the night before. My mom and dad both passed and today I have Choir, Owen has Gymnastics, and Alexa, Ian and I have Church. But right now we are at home doing school:-( I will post more soon:-) So good bye for now.
